On 28 August, in an amazingly impressive performance our senior fours team of Wanda Grzegorczyk, Lisa Hamby, Sue Hunter and Lola Cashman, beat teams from Essex and Somerset to progress to the quarter-finals of the Bowls England national championship.
That placed them among the best eight teams in the whole of England! An outstanding achievement.
In the quarter final, played on 29 August, our team was close to success again, just beaten by a team from Sussex.
