On Thursday morning our fours team won its first-round match in the national finals against a team from Lancashire. This placed them in the best 32 teams in the whole of England, and they were awarded their badges.
In the afternoon, things did not go as well and our fours team lost against a very strong team from the Isle of Wight. Sue Hunter informs us that three out of those four ladies from Ryde Marina won the senior fours national championship last year.
